about

Actually now that I think about it this was never really "released" per se, so it's not really a reissue because it's the first time it's ever been sold, at least that I remember. Back when I was a young person, bands used to make demos, with the hopes of getting a big time record deal with a major label. I don't think anyone does that anymore, or if they do they should stop, because it's silly.

I've called it Quick Fix '99 because I don't think it ever had a title and that one seems appropriate as I believe that's when we recorded it. I could be wrong. Who cares, really.

There's some digital schmutz (see note) on some of the tracks. It's annoying but it's not that big a deal and there's really nothing that can be done about it given that we're talking about long lost recordings from 20+ years ago.

Thanks to Eric Donohue, later of Quick Fix himself, for sending this to me.

NOTE: The first version of this EP that I uploaded had some glitches that have now been fixed thanks to brother Steve Latham. Go see Steve"s thorough cataloging of Boston rock through his excellent photos on his website stevelatham.net.
